Velma Eileen Thomas Petersen

Velma Eileen Thomas Petersen, 74, of Danville, Virginia passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at her home. She was born March 10, 1947 in Milford, Utah to the late Ollie Dean Thomas and Velma Gray Thomas. She was a respiratory therapist for Trimont Care for over twenty years. She loved the mountains, daytime talk shows, reading and all animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Shaun Ray Davis.

She is survived by a daughter, Tori Dee Saunders; sister, Olive Renee (Bitty) Austin (Steve); brothers, Harland Thomas (Norma), Russell Dean Thomas (Karen) and Gerald (Jed) Thomas (Mickie); grandchildren, Derek Daniel Davis (Andee), Erin D. Davis, Kinley Davis and Hali Velma Davis-Dixon; great-grandchildren, Chazee, Kaylee, Zane, Kayceon, LaShawn Mikayel, Nova, Daniel, Shaun, Oliver, Bentley and Zachary.

All services will be private.
