Jesse Lee Overstreet

Jesse Lee Overstreet, 77, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was born in Bedford, VA on November 1, 1944 a son of the late Samuel Robert Overstreet and Lillie Laura Hodges Overstreet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Overstreet and Shirley O. Donald. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Porter Overstreet; children, Bonnie Crouch (Todd), Laura Bagby (Dwayne); brother, George Overstreet; grandchildren, Tonya Bradley (Justin), Lisa Crouch, Jamie Overstreet, Justin Overstreet, Jesse Overstreet, Virginia Bagby, Samuel Bagby; and great-grandchildren, Kyle Pickeral, Logan Pickeral, Brent Bradley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel with Pastor Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Peaks Church Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at Burch-Messier Walnut St. Chapel, 1235 Walnut St., Bedford.
