Ronald David Jones Sr.

Ronald David Jones Sr., 77, of Charlotte Court House, died on February 6, 2022, at his residence. Born on August 31, 1944, in Norfolk Va., he was the son of the late Joseph Brown Jones and Lillian “Maggie” Lassiter Jones.
He worked as a meat manager at various stores and at one point owned his own market.
He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Brinkley, Sandra Spear and husband, Jerry, Nancy Galbreath all of Charlotte Courthouse; one brother, James Edward “Eddie” Jones of Charlotte Courthouse; one granddaughter, Jessica Jones; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Strader, Savannah Ava Strader, and Genesis DeHaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his three sons, Donald Joseph Jones, Ronald David Jones Jr. (Davey), Danny Ray Jones; two brothers, Joseph Jones Jr., and Robert Jones; and one sister Ramona Baker.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday February 8, 2022, at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
