Sherry Preston

Sherry Preston, 75, passed away on Thursday, February 10, at the home of her son, Sean Cobb in Chatham, Virginia. She was born May 5, 1946, in Anderson, South Carolina to the late E.C. Morris and Helen Coleman Morris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Preston; and son Alan Bell.

Sherry loved being outside, working in her flower beds. She loved bartending. She loved Rock and Roll and Bluegrass music. She could play a dulcimer and piano. Sherry and Jamie loved to travel. She also loved all kinds of animals.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Beth McDonald; stepdaughter, Lovella Glenn; sons, Sean Cobb (Susan) and Kerry Cobb; stepson, son, Jimi Weaver Preston; brothers, Carl Morris (June), and Bryan Morris; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
