Viola C. Crews, 84, of Bassett, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Stanleytown Health and Rehab in Bassett. She was born on May 29, 1937 in Patrick County to the late Fred Lee Chaney and the late Bertha Craig Chaney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Chaney and Jr. Chaney; sister, Vivian Cassell.
Viola is survived by his loving husband of 63 years, Clinton Eugene Crews; daughter, Pamela Koger, husband, Marvin of Stoneville, NC; son, Jeffery Crews of Bassett; brothers, Troy Chaney of Bassett, Herbert Chaney of Bassett and Hershel Chaney; sisters, Velma Cassell of Fieldale, Virginia Prater of Collinsville and Barbara Frost of Bassett; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
