Teddy Webster Hatcher

Teddy Webster Hatcher, 73, of Martinsville, passed away on February 17, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1948 to the late Webster Daniel Hatcher and Mary Lucille Hatcher.
He is survived by his sister Tami Hatcher (James Haynsworth) of Columbia, South Carolina.
Ted was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School and Southern Illinois University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a faithful member of Mercy Crossing and was employed by First Baptist Church of Martinsville prior to his illness.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Ted's special caregivers, Jack and Rachel Tibbs, and to his many friends who visited, called and sent cards during Ted's illness.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to First Baptist Church of Martinsville for their love and support throughout Ted's illness as they exemplified Matthew 25:40 and 1st John 3:17-18. They saw a brother in need and provided just as if unto The Lord himself.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family asks that any donations be made to First Baptist Church of Martinsville Benevolent Fund to enable them to continue to show the love and compassion of Christ.
