James Alexander Johnson

James Alexander Johnson, 61, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born January 20, 1961, in Martinsville, Virginia to Jack Belvia Johnson and the late Sarah Lou Penn Johnson. He attended Antioch Christian Church. Mr. Johnson was a true Dallas Cowboy fan, and loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann King Johnson; father; and stepmother, Leatrice Johnson; daughter, Kayla Woods; sons, Alex Johnson and Joel Johnson; sisters, Gloria Johnson and Beverly France; and grandchild, Kingston McKenzie.

A funeral will be held on Saturday February 26, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Harvey Penn officiating. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
