Rebecca Ruff Ellis

Rebecca Ruff Ellis, 89 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, May 20, 1932 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Hezzy Herman Ruff and Hattie Virginia Robertson Ruff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billie Thomas Ellis, a son, William Calvin Ellis, her son-in-law, Bill Epps and four grand doggie children.

She enjoyed doing genealogy and was a lifetime member of Longwood Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Gayle Epps.

A private family graveside service will be held Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Ross Gilfillen officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
