Judith Gail Ramey Bishop

Judith Gail Ramey Bishop, 79, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1942, in West Virginia, to the late John Ramey and Bertha Hopkins Ramey. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bassett, enjoyed taking pictures, crafts, softball, basketball and bowling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Anthony (Tony) Bishop; and sisters, Patricia Ramey and Sue Myers.

Judith is survived by her brothers, David Ramey (Jean) and Michael Ramey; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and Godson, Jeremey Rotenberry.

The funeral will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Doug Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
