Frances Maurene Clark Plaster

Frances Maurene Clark Plaster, 80 yrs old, went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 14, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Critz, Virginia on April 12, 1941 the daughter of the late Willie Noel Clark and Mattie Ruth Hopkins Clark.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Aaron L. Plaster, Sr.; brothers, James William, Melvin Leon and Ronnie Noel Clark and an infant brother. 
She was of the Christian faith and a long time member of Stanleytown Amazing Grace Baptist Church. 
Maurene is survived by a son, Aaron Lee Plaster Jr., Martinsville, VA; sisters, Alma Lucille C. Robertson (James) of Collinsville, VA, Mildred Louise C. Hubbard of Collinsville, VA and Nancy Irene C. McAlexander (Cleat) of Woolwine, VA; special nieces, Janice M. Simmons (Sterling) Roanoke,VA, Julie M. Rubinstein (Yoni) Arlington VA and Tammy Renee Clark.;  great-nephew & niece Seth & Sidney Perry, Jackson & Maggie Simmons of Roanoke, VA.  
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.  A funeral services will be on Monday, March 21, 2022 in the Bassett Funeral Services Chapel in Bassett, VA with Dr. Greg Hodges and Pastor Sammy Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at The Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, Elamsville VA.
