Joseph Wayne Wright

JOSEPH WAYNE WRIGHT, 38, of Bland, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at his home. He was born July 1, 1983 in Radford, VA, the son of Christopher Wayne Wright and Sandra Tolbert Wright.
“Joe” loved everybody and loved to help people. He especially loved his family and was very protective over them. He did'nt mind telling you he was a proud "mama's boy." He enjoyed working on cars and collecting knives and tools.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony & Minnie Wright and Bill & Sue Tolbert and his uncles, Mike Wright, Billy Tolbert and Mark Tolbert.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Christopher Wayne Wright; his mother, Sandy Tolbert Wright; his daughters, Kayla Sue and Brooke Marie, which he loved very much; his sister, Jennifer Wright; his fiancée, Lisa Ann Davis and her children, which he loved as his own, Caleb and Jacob; his nephews, Braiden Lee Gore and Karson Lane Gore; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Ray Horne and Glenn Davis.
Per Joe’s wishes, he has been cremated. A memorial visitation is planned for Saturday, March 26, 2022 at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Joe’s honor directly to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134, to help offset the funeral expenses.
