Janet Marie Flood

Janet Marie Flood, 60, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away March 20, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. On September 8, 1961, she was born in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Johnny Flood and Bessie Hairston Flood. She was a New Jerusalem Apostle Church member and was previously employed by Hooker Furniture Corporation. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets, and liked shopping and watching movies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Yolanda Hamlett and Cynthia Flood; and brother, Michael Flood.

She is survived by her son, Stanley Turner of the home; four brothers, Everett (Arabella) Flood, Johnny Flood, Maurice Flood and James Flood; sister, Delsina Niblett; special friend, Willie Barrett; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The funeral will be Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 12:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
