James Kinley “Gable” Manns

James Kinley Manns “Gable”, 75, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his residence. He was born March 18, 1947, in Henry County to the late Mack Manns and Mildred Stanley Manns. He loved to fish and watch racing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Manns.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Sandra K. Hunt; sister, Linda J. Goad (Elder Charles); and grandchildren, Marcus Hunt, Montaious Hunt and Nyquez Martin; great-grandchildren, Kamari Johnson, Kennedy Palmer-Martin, Taylaa Hunt and Kohl Palmer-Martin; niece, Jessica Goad; nephew, Joseph Goad; two of his right hand men, Larry “Donnie” Ross and Jim Stanley; and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 1:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Elder John El Manns officiating and Elder Antonio Hargrove, Eulogist. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stanley Family Cemetery, Penrose Drive, Bassett, Virginia.
