Naomi Bryant Stratton

October 2, 1931 - April 17, 2022

Naomi Bryant Stratton, 90, of Appomattox, died Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was the wife of the late Emmett Jamerson.

Born in Buckingham, October 2, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Minnie Roberta Burks and Russel Roy Bryant. Naomi was a member of Vera Church of God.

She is survived by one son, Charles Wesley Jamerson and wife, Relinda of Appomattox; two brothers, James Bryant of Appomattox and Gene Bryant of Vera; one sister, Helen Almond of Appomattox; three grandchildren, Shannon Maddox and husband, Mike, Shaunna Brown and husband, Ben, and Amanda Lundy and fiancé, Nathan McCraw; five great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Emmalee, Behringer, Brock and Bayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Baby Jamerson; great-grandson, Caleb Purcell; two brothers, Daniel Bryant and Oscar Bryant; and three sisters, Ruby Bryant, Lois Moore and Dorothy Hackett.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Vera Church of God with Pastor Landon Watson and Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m., at Maple Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Vera Church of God and other times at the home of Charles Jamerson.
