Grover Allen Harrison

Grover Allen Harrison, 92, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. He was born January 12, 1930, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late George Wilson Harrison and Geneva Thornton Harrison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Allen Harrison; sisters, Helen H. Slayton, and Blanche Bray; grandson, Robert Allen Harrison

Grover proudly served in the United States Army during the World War II era. He was employed by E.I. DuPont for 35 years. He attended Freedom Baptist Church.

Grover is survived by his wife, Hazel Kinsey Harrison; son, David Lee Harrison (Wendy); grandchildren, Heather R. Wyatt (Brian), and Hilary R. Wilson; great-grandchildren, Rand Harrison Wyatt, Kendal Taylor Wilson, Cooper Benjamin Wilson, and Chandler Kate Wilson.

A Private Graveside service will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Larry Luffman officiating.
