Benjamin Fitzgerald Moore

Benjamin Fitzgerald Moore, 72, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at his residence. He was born October 23, 1949, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Mary Elizabeth Moore Walker.

Benjamin was of the Baptist faith and loved spending his time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rufus Walker.

He was survived by his sisters, Patricia Pritchett, and Rita Piggott; brothers, Elijah Walker, and David Walker; Best Friend, Charles Wells; A host of nieces, nephews, and numerous family and friends.

The funeral will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:30 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Alan Preston officiating. Burial will follow at Peoples Cemetery. A visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service.
