Barbara Ann Glenn

Barbara Ann Glenn, 73, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was born April 24, 1949 to the late Samuel Leonard Glenn and Virginia Evelyn Jamison Glenn. Barbara was of the Baptist faith and was a great baker. She loved traveling to hear country music singers, she visited Graceland, and enjoyed the Grand Ole Opry. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating. She is survived by her brothers; John Leonard Glenn (Judy) and Thomas Alvin Glenn (Ruth); aunt, Nina Hylton; niece, Toni Kendrick; nephews; John Robert Glenn (Rob), John Wayne Cassell, William Leonard Glenn, Brian Keith Glenn and Thomas alvin Glenn, Jr.; great nieces and nephews, Kyle Russell, Nathan Glenn, Jack Glenn, Ashton Cassell, Brock Cassell, Brianna Glenn, Nillie Mize, J. J. Mize, Chase Kendrick, Bailey Kendrick, Destiny Measmier; great-great-nephew, Beau Measmier; aunt, Ethel Jamison; and special friend, Kathy Wilkerson. A very special thanks to Don Hylton, Toni Kendrick, William Glenn, Heather Glenn, and Carilion Hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 107 Cemetery Street, Martinsville, Virginia 24112. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
