Barbara Clark Elliott

Barbara passed away Friday November 18, 2022. She was reunited with her husband and true love Bobbie Joe “BJ” Elliott. Barbara and BJ were married September 15, 1951, in Prices Fork, VA. Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her son Robert Steven Elliott and wife Sheila of Pembroke, VA, daughter Susan Elliott-Reed and husband Phil of New Castle, VA. Her grandson and apple of her eye, Robert William Elliott and wife Kenley of Radford, VA. Her dearest sisters Pat Linkous of Andersonville, TN and Maggie Clark of Stanleytown, VA. Two beautiful nieces Kathy Bingham (Ted) and Cindy Smith (Nathan) both in Andersonville, TN. A great niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Travis Bingham. Beloved friends Sally Elliott and Liz Lindon, both of Blacksburg, VA. Barbara was a long-time employee at Virginia Tech in the Dairy Sciences department. She loved spending time with her sisters, family, and friends. Barbara also enjoyed reading, watching game shows, furry friends, and her fishponds. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2p.m. on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW. A funeral service will also be held at 2p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg, VA.
