Barbara Wolfe Simpson

Mrs. Barbara Wolfe Simpson, age 74, of East Bend, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Novant Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1949, in Surry County, to the late Robert Wolfe and the late Loranne Faye Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Angle.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Grant Simpson; her grandson, Bradley Angle; her sister and brother-in-law, Velvet and Randy Trull; nieces, Britany Blevins and Stephanie Gates; a nephew, Darrell Blevins; and many special cousins and friends. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a member of Grapevine Baptist Church, and co-owner of B&G Cleaning Services for 32 years. Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Grapevine Baptist Church. Services for Mrs. Simpson will begin at 1:00 PM, in the church with Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Grapevine Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7905 Grapevine Road, Lewisville NC 27023, or Hope of Israel Baptist Mission, Attention, Barbara Simpson Memorials, 1611 Holly Street, Eden NC 27288 .
