Barry Carroll Wyatt

Barry Carroll Wyatt, age 72, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. He was the son of the late John Simmons Wyatt and Ruby Wade Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Wyatt.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Freeman Wyatt; daughter, Angela Agee (Corey); son, Adam Wyatt (Michelle); grandchildren Jonathan and Brantley Wyatt. He is also survived by brother-in-law, Jimmy Freeman; sisters-in-law, Linda Ellis, Pam Miller (Dennis) and Vivian Freeman; nephews, Jamie Freeman (Crystal) and Joey Freeman.

Barry was a Baptist by faith, enjoyed playing golf, was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, and a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a long-time employee of the Martinsville City Sheriff's Department where he worked as a correctional officer and courtroom bailiff.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm and will be officiated by Reverend Bill Prescott.

Family requests memorial donations be made to the Martinsville Henry County SPCA, in memory of Barry at 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
