Belinda C. Hypes

Belinda C. Hypes, 69, of Rich Creek, Virginia went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2024, at the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born at Panama City, Panama on January 22nd, 1955. Belinda was a graduate of Christiansburg High School and New River Community College. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Mary Frances Cruise. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rodonna Sutphin; brother-in-law, Allen Sutphin; brother, David L. Cruise; and sister-in-law Debbie Cruise. She is survived by her companion/forever friend James (Jug) Donathan; daughter, Oceanna Cruise Matney; son-in-law, Geoff Matney; sister, Pamela C. Young; brother-in-law, Thomas E. Young; nieces Mary Dennis, Whitney Young: nephews, John Young, Shawn Cruise; great nephews Aubrey Ford, Joey Culverhouse, Westyn Ware; great niece, Casandra Cruise; great-great nephew, Zaylen McGraw; and, three special fur babies, Smokey, Bandit, and Rambo. The visitation will also be held on Sunday, February 25th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Virginia. The funeral will immediately follow at 2:00 PM.
