Benton Wesley Culler

Benton “Wesley” Culler, 89, of Roanoke, was called home to be with the Lord, December 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Edna Culler, as well as 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Wesley was survived by his wife of 50 years Ellen Culler; children, Cathy Wood (Steve), Cindy Snow (Douglas), Ricky Culler (Michelle), Sonja Culler, special son Randy Sturgill, and Steve Helms (Angie); as well as 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Wesley was a longtime member of Connelly Memorial Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Wesley’s name to Connelly Memorial Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor George Bulson officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Interment will follow services at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
