Betty Ann Taylor

Betty Ann Taylor, 73, of Martinsville Va. passed away Friday, June 20, 2025. She was born in Dover, Deleware, January 2, 1952, to the late Stephen Elmer Kantz and Emma Schwarzer Kantz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Franklin Taylor; her previous husband, Daniel Ronspees and her brother Stephen Kantz.

She is survived by her son, Zach Daniel Ronspees and sister, Rose Somers Clayton Sparks.

Betty was a long-time member of Chatham Heights Baptist Church where she loved her church family. She had been a homemaker most all her life taking great care of her family. She had also worked as a nurse at Kings Grant Retirement Community and later as a private duty nurse. She was an avid reader.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Chatham Heights Baptist Church and will be officiated by the Reverend Dr. Mike Hatfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chatham Heights Baptist Church, 1235 Chatham Heights Road, Martinsville, Va. 24112.
