Betty B. Gregory

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Betty B. Gregory-82- of Roanoke, VA. on July 23. 2023. A native of Franklin County she was the daughter of the late Joseph Kennet Brown and Sally Prather Brown. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years Vernon B. Gregory, her brothers Joseph Brown, John Brown and sister Alzie Kesler. Surviving is her daughter Catherine (Cathy) St. Clair. Sons- Roger B. St. Clair (Beth) and John J. Muehlendyck (Ramona). Granddaughters- Katelyn St. Clair, Tessa Muehlendyck, and Amy Higgins (Daniel). Sisters- Della B. St. Clair and Joyce B. Higgs and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved deeply. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was well known for her dedication in providing transportation for children of Roanoke City. She drove for the Roanoke City School System for 23 years. She touched many small lives, remembering many of them as they grew up and had children of their own that also rode her bus. Bus #12. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Intrepid Hospice for taking such good care of Betty for the past year.
