Betty Darlene Jennings

Betty Darlene Tosh Jennings, age 67 of Chatham, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at SOVAH Health in Danville, Virginia. She was born July 29, 1957 in Climax, Virginia to the late Doris Bowen Tosh and the late Oscar Tosh. She was married to the late James Lee Jennings, whom predeceased her in 2020.

Mrs. Jennings was a faithful member of Greenpond Baptist Church. She will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jennings; her son, Kevin Jennings; grandchildren, Freedom Jennings, Gabrial Thompson, and Jacob Thompson; great grandchildren, Paisley Piccolo, Noah Stainback, and Luke Knight; her brother, Ramsey Tosh; and her cousin, Marie Rousseau.

In addition to her beloved husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Tosh and Wallace Tosh.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Chatham Chapel. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Chatham Chapel with Pastor Charles Ryan officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Virginia.

At other times, the family will receive friends and family at the residence of Mrs. Betty Jennings.
