Betty Hudson Arnold

The battle is over, the victory is won. Betty Arnold went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2025. She was born April 1, 1932 in Piney Flats, Tennessee to the late Eugene and Laura Glover. On October 28, 1950, she married the love of her life, Roy C. Arnold. They shared sixty seven happy years together. Betty worked for Dan River Mills in various departments. She was a life long member of Central Boulevard Church of God. She loved her Lord and believed positive that he answered prayers. She was faithful to send cards to encourage others. She loved her family taking care of her home and traveling. She loved her faithful Pit Bull companion, Piggy, and he loved her.

Left to cherish her memory, are daughters Deborah A. Quinn (Michael) and Sharon A. Bernard; Grandchildren; Steven Quinn, Ashley Quinn, Bryan Bernard II, Brittany Wilkerson (Michelle), and Bryant Bernard III; Ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son; Larry C. Arnold.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 1-2:00pm, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel. A private interment will be held after the service for family and close friends only.
