Betty Jane Mcmahan

Betty Jane McMahan, age 77, of Blacksburg, went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born in Montgomery Co., VA, on January 16, 1949, to the late Edward G. and Eleanor Linkous Hungate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Oakey McMahan; a daughter, Joan Marie Barker; a granddaughter, Laura Barker; a brother, Norman Hungate; and a sister, Peggy Hungate Fox. She is survived by her son, Billy W. Jones (Patricia Woodson); daughters, Angela Gail Jones (Tashina Meadows), and Tina Renee Collins (Wayne); grandchildren, Dustin, Latrinidy, Jacob, Leann, and Tyler; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Smith, Margaret Duncan, and Frances Alls (Jimmy); ex-husband and father of her children, Bill Jones. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Simon Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm before the service.
