Betty Jean Brown Creasey

Betty Jean Brown Creasey, 78, of Bedford, passed away just two days after her husband, Norman Bruce Creasey on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born in Moneta, VA on June 7, 1945 a daughter of the late George Brown and Helen Newman Brown. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Creasey; and her siblings, Gracie B. Shelton, Roy Brown, Lucille B. Ayers, Melvin Brown, Norma B. Overstreet and Tommy Brown. She was retired from Ericsson. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Creasey, Billy Creasey and wife Christine; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Creasey. A memorial service will be held for both Betty and Bruce at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford with Rev. Vernon DeLong officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to the Bedford Fire Department or The Saint Bernard Club of America.
