Betty Jo Custer Brookman Bernard, 88, of Troutville passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wallace Brookman and Jimmy Bernard; daughter, Revonda Thomas; granddaughter, Erin Thomas; parents, Guy Wesley and Ida Mae Custer; all of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Altis and Kathy Campbell; granddaughters, Nicole Seemann and Shae (Russell) Prusak; great-grandchildren, Gwin Willie, Bryson and Weston Prusak, Brandon, Ryan, and Dylan Clark, Nick and Austin Seemann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
