Betty Lou (Easter) Edwards

Ms. Betty Lou Easter Edwards, 79 of Cana, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsville, Virginia. Ms. Edwards was born on February 5, 1947, in Surry County to the late Garnett Lee and Geneva Forest Cagle Easter. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, April Edwards Hall and Eddie; grandchildren and spouses, Summer Hall Nester and Kyle, Zachary Hall; and a brother, Elgia Easter. Ms. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents. No formal services will be held at this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the services.
