Betty Lou Huffman Whitlow

Betty Lou Huffman Whitlow, 89, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn R. Whitlow; great-grandson Joshua Whitlow, Jr.

Betty is survived by her children, Glenda Martin, Mark Whitlow (Karen Pannell); niece Diane Stevens; grandchildren, Daniel Martin, Kelly Martin, Whitney Martin, Joshua Whitlow, Jenna Whitlow, Michael Pannell and fiancée Andrea Valderrama, Derek Pannell, Dylan Pannell, Zac Pannell, and Taylor Burns; great-grandchildren, Allison Martin, Caleb Graves, Katie Smathers, McKenzie Martin, Daniel Martin, Kyleigh Pannell, Chole Valderrama, Colton Valderrama, Adrianna Pannell, Nikolai Pannell, Lillith Pannell, and Lucifer Pannell.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends, Monday, October 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel. (540)366-0707.
