Ms. Betty Louise Adkins Martin, age 46 of Ararat, Virginia passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born in Patrick County on May 5, 1977, to the late Archie Grady Adkins and Virginia Louise Pack Levesque. Betty was always up for tubing down the river. She will be remembered as a woman who loved with her whole heart, a devoted mama and nanny. Her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life.

Left to cherish the memory of Betty Martin are her two sons, William Grady Adkins (Kristen Rae) and Joseph Ray Boyd (Mariah Jean); five grandchildren, Brayson William Akins, Brantley Wayne Adkins, Bailey Rae Akins, Kaitlyn Noel Jean Boyd, and Mackenzie Rae Boyd; husband, David Junior Pack; five siblings, Booker Adkins (Opal), Archie Atkins, Carol Kendrick (Mike), Michael Adkins, and Frances Bowman (Lonnie); two nieces, Heather Bowman and Tiffany Marshall; three nephews, Josh Adkins, Chris Adkins, and Andy Adkins; and her beloved dog, Old Fat Boy.
