Beverly Doreatha Hampton

Beverly Hampton, 68, of Henry, Virginia passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born November 2, 1955, in Axton, Virginia to the late Mello Scales and Magdeline Peatross Keen.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larnell Hampton; son, Cory Hampton; sister, Delois Stockton; brother, Clinton Scales.Beverly was a member of Emmanuel Faith Temple in Cascade, Virginia. She was a graduate of Laurel Park High School and employed by Danville Community College where she worked in graphic art & design.She is survived by her daughter, Terricca Hampton; son, Joshual Hampton; sisters, Diana Scales Hampton, Sandra Cabiness (Kirkwood), Geraldine Peatross (Leslie); brother, Irvin Keen; fifteen grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.The funeral will be Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1:30 PM with Pastor Derrick Jumper officiating. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service.
