Beverly Kaye Wray

Beverly Kaye Wray, 72, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Gibson House in Reidsville, North Carolina. She was born on June 10, 1952, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late James Keeton and Martha House Keeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Wray, her brother, Van C. Keeton, and her sister, Judith Keeton.

Beverly was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She dedicated many years to a career as a professional truck driver before retiring, after retirement she drove for seven years for Henry County Public School System. She cherished time with her family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Left to honor her memory are her children: one daughter, Saprina Wray; three sons, Jeremey Edwards (Melissa), Jonathan Wray (Stephaine), and Joseph Wray. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elaine Wilcher (Johnny), Betty Jo Holton, and Beth Carson; one brother, Donnie Anderson; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, with Elder Roderick Ross officiating.
