Beverly T. Rice

                    Beverly T. Rice, 79, of Martinsville and formerly of Connecticut, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection, in Stuart Virginia. Beverly was born on February 6, 1943, in Connecticut to the late Douglas Thomas and Edna Mulcare Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Thomas.

       Beverly became a truck driver where she later purchased her own and became the owner of the trucking company.  Beverly was a precious “jewel” to her family and will greatly be missed!

       Beverly is survived by her daughter, Christine Martin, son, John T. Rice, grandchildren; Joshua Martin and Wesley Martin. She is also survived by a brother and sister, Robert Thomas, and Geraldine Chapman.

 

There are no services scheduled at this time. Services will be held in Connecticut at a later date. The family wish to thank Mountain Valley Hospice.
