Billie J. Caldwell, 89, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade O. Caldwell; parents, Archie and Annie Webb; son-in-law, Halsey Meador; sisters, Bobbie Meador and Kathy Norris; brother, Arnold Webb; mother-in-law, Bertha Caldwell; and sister-in-law, Norma Puckett.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Terri Meador; grandsons, Kyle Meador and Daniel Meador; sister, Thelma Walker; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Cox and Claudine Caldwell.
She was a great caregiver to Kyle and Daniel for 15 years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 3:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
