Billy Joe Fox

Billy Joe Fox of Covington, VA, age 84 died Monday, September 25, 2023, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital.

Billy Joe was born, April 18, 1939, in Ronceverte, WVA and was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Sue Huffman Fox and Raymond Fox; a daughter, Debbie Bartley; and a sister.

Mr. Fox retired from AET and was also a former employee at Hercules, Inc.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Sue Huffman Fox of Covington; one daughter, Diana Austin of Covington; and three grandchildren Kayla Maynard of Lancaster, PA, Justin Perdue of St. Mary, GA. and Jessica Wills, White Sulphur, WVA; and a brother, Ricky Fox of Ronceverte, WVA.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated.

A service will be held at a later date.
