Blanche Marie Barrow

Blanche Marie Martin Barrow, 99, of Collinsville, VA passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born January 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Claude and Evelyn Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Eugene Barrow, Sr. also her brother and sister in law, Harold G. Martin, Sr. and Betty Carol Martin. She worked in banking for many years starting with the First National Bank of Martinsville and Henry County before retiring from Crestar Bank. She loved attending church and got her strength from the Lord. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society where she enjoyed the many trips they took together.

Surviving are two sons, Rodney Barrow (Paula), Gene Barrow (Betty); three grandchildren, Jason Barrow (Lori), Bryce Barrow (Lauren), Brianna Reeves (Matt); six great grandchildren, Lorelai, Meredith, Nate, Piper, Katherine, Braydan; two nephews, Harold Martin, Jr (Lela), Randy Martin (Barbara); niece, Sandra Greeson (Tim). Special thanks to the staff at Stanleytown Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion over the years; to Fort Trail Baptist Church for the many cards and visits to her.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Collins-Mckee-Stone Funeral Home with Dr. Joey McNeill officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. before the service.
