Bobby Jennings Wilson

Bobby Jennings Wilson, 76, of Danville, VA passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at his home. Mr. Wilson was born November 11, 1946, in Washington County, VA to the late Jennings Wilson and the late Nancy Childress Wilson. He was married to Donna L. McBride Wilson, who predeceased him. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Southard (Rickey) of Reidsville, NC and his son, Michael Wilson.

Bobby served in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver for many years. He was loved by many and never seemed to meet a stranger. He could be a little stubborn and “set in his ways” but he was always joking and never took life too seriously.

While no formal funeral services are planned, the family will host a visitation by friends on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the West End Chapel of Norris Funeral Services, 511 Church Ave. Danville.
