Bobby Lewis Abbott, Sr.

Bobby Lewis Abbott, Sr., 80, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born on September 14, 1942, in Salem, VA to the late Walton Abbott and Lillie Akers Abbott.

Mr. Abbott was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hall Abbott of the home; daughter, Karen Saunders of Collinsville, VA; sons, Bobby Abbott, Jr. (Donna) of Martinsville, VA, and David Abbott (Robin) of Martinsville, VA; brother, Leroy Abbott of Ridgeway, VA; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Martin officiating at Roselawn Burial Park.
