Bobby Ray Fleshman

Bobby Ray Fleshman, 86, of Roanoke County went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marie Fleshman; and sister, Bonnie Hodge.

Bobby is survived by his son, Bobby Fleshman II (Julie Williams); daughters, Rhonda Lambert and Ann Thompson (Rusty); grandchildren, Jennifer Herman (Jon), Jessica Wilkerson (Zack), Stewart Thompson, Danielle Cundiff (George), Shelby Cook (Kevin), and Nikki Woolwine; great grandchildren, Declyn Shiflett (Chad), Michael Leftwich, Miranda Bryant, Makayla Ring, Robin Haburn, Aurora Cook, Rowan Woolwine, Jackson Herman, and Emma Wilkerson; sister, Eleanor (Jo) Weaver; cousin, Jimmy Fleshman; and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a Route Salesman starting with PET Dairy and later moved to Valley Rich Dairy. In his free time, he showed his 1962 Chevy Impala at Classic Car Shows. Additionally, he enjoyed hiking and fishing around the Roanoke Valley. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the many personnel involved with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Roanoke County Police Department, and Roanoke County Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that individuals donate to www.sarti.us which is a search and rescue tracking institute.

The family will have a Visitation on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 1:00-2:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek), followed by a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm.
