Bobby Thompson Craig

Bobby Thompson Craig, Sr., 69, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born July 13, 1953, in Bassett, Virginia, to the late Frank Craig and Mary Magalene Hairston Craig. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gale Hairston; and brother Ernest William “Conkie” Hairston. He was a bulldozer operator for over 50 years. Bobby was a hard working man, he worked hard and he played harder. He is survived by daughters, Tasha Vaughn and Shelby Vaughn; sons, Rodricuz Vaughn, Trevor Vaughn, Dexter Vaughn and Bobby Craig, Jr.; sisters, Karen Craig Watkins (Nathaniel) and Constance Craig Pilson; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and special nieces, Tiara Scales and Mecca Craig.
