Bonnie Brown Preas
Bonnie Brown Preas passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born on September 18, 1954, in Roanoke, Virginia, Bonnie was a gentle soul who loved fiercely and had a smile for everyone. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Blake H. Brown and Betty B. Brown, both of Roanoke.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Bob Preas, daughter Melissa Stacy and son-in law, Richard of Moneta, Virginia, her son Jason Preas and daughter-in-law, Cari of Salem, Virginia, and brother Blake B. Brown who resides in Thailand. Bonnie has two grandchildren that she loved unconditionally and with every part of her being, Sydney and Tucker Preas. Bonnie was a retired Purchasing Agent for the Town of Blacksburg, a community and church volunteer, and a Sunday School teacher for First Christian Church in Salem, Virginia. Bonnie was everyone’s cheerleader and never missed a chance to support her family. Most of all Bonnie was a beloved mom and Mimi who always wanted to be with her family and took every opportunity to show her love. The family would like to extend their appreciation and a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice.
Services will be held at First Christian Church in Salem, Virginia Friday June 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM with a visitation before at 10:00am and a luncheon following the service in the fellowship hall.
