Brenda Ann Hamlett Heffinger

Brenda Ann Hamlett Heffinger, age 75, of Providence, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, while a resident of Roman Eagle Health and Rehab, Danville, VA. Mrs. Heffinger was born December 27, 1948, in Caswell County, NC to the late Stephen Harvey Hamlett and the late Ruby Hairfield Hamlett. She was married to James Thedore Heffinger, who survives, of the residence.

Mrs. Heffinger was a homemaker all her adult life. This gave her the opportunity to devote her time and love to her husband, children, grandchildren, and eventually her great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Providence Volunteer Fire Department for over 27 years. In addition, she was an avid NC Tarheel fan.

Mrs. Heffinger was the last remaining member of her family; she survived her eight siblings. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Fry of Danville and a son, Chris Heffinger (Danielle) of Providence. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley Reaves (Jason) and Noah Heffinger, as well as great-grandchildren Ryli and Remi Reaves.

A visitation of friends will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA.

A graveside service will take place on Monday November 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA.
