Brenda Lee Ferguson Howard

Brenda Lee Ferguson Howard, 83, of Lynchburg, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Clay Ferguson; mother, Dorothy Goad Ferguson Lemon; husband, Samuel Crawford Howard; daughter, Selinda Leigh Tryon; brothers, Billy Grey Ferguson, Danny Reid Ferguson & Winferd Arnold Ferguson; sister-in-law, Shirley Ferguson.

Brenda graduated from Huddleston High School & was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church. Brenda loved to collect glass slippers.

She is survived by her son, Scott Crawford Howard, Sr.; grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Anderson, Scott Crawford Howard, Jr. & Cullen Michael Jennings; sister, Barbara Jean Mayhew & husband, Leonard; special friend, James Peters; numerous nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home Chapel, Bedford, with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.The family will receivefriends from 2 - 4 pm prior to the service.
