Brenda Minnick Parcell
Brenda M Parcell, 79, of Pearisburg, Virginia entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father on September 27, 2025.
Born on March 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ernestine Minnick. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and faith left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Brenda gave more than 30 years of dedicated service to Poly Scientific/Moog, where she was respected for her work ethic and treasured for the friendships she formed. Her gentle spirit and generous heart made her a constant source of encouragement to family, friends and colleagues alike.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Jerry Parcell, of Pearisburg; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rob Ervine of Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Jill Parcell of Christiansburg; twin sister, Linda Altizer of Christiansburg; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Noella Minnick of Pearisburg; brother-in-law, Tony Parcell of Pearisburg; sister-in-law, Pam Lucas of Maynardville, TN; several nieces and nephews along with cherished neighbors, Ed and Shirley Huskey. In addition to her parents; Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Minnick; and brother-in-law, Rodney Altizer.
Above all, Brenda will be remembered as a loving and faithful wife, caring and supportive mother, and cherished friend. Her gentle heart and steadfast love for her family will remain her greatest legacy.
The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted to celebrate her life on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. Funeral services will conclude with interment at Birchlawn Burial Park where she will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to Ingram Village United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, Virginia.
