Brian Franklin Hull

BRIAN FRANKLIN HULL, 53, of Bastian, VA, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025.  He was born April 17, 1972 in Bluefield, WV, the son of William & Brenda Hull.

Brian had a big heart and would lend a hand whenever needed. He enjoyed helping people.

He enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing and woodworking.  He enjoyed a good yard sale.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Hull, his grandparents, Norman & Jessie Ray Hull and Ulyess & Okie Hicks, and a special pet companion, “Lulu.”

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Brenda Hicks Hull; his son, Jessie Hull; his daughter, Emma Jackson; his grandchild, Ezra DeAtley; his sister, Bridget Hull & Preston Swecker; his brother, Brock Hull; his wife, Diane Bowles Hull; a special friend and caregiver, Paula Jackson; and his special pet companion, “Biggun.”

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Bastian Church of God with Pastor Mitch Looney officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M.
