Bruce Wayne Plunkett

Bruce Wayne Plunkett, 64, of Roanoke passed into the heavenly kingdom, Saturday, February 10, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was preceded by his brother, David Plunkett.

Bruce was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, an avid outdoorsman, and a talented ,self taught machinist.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Plunkett; daughter, Chesley Hall (Brandon), grandchildren, Brandon "Scotty" Hall, Harper Hall, and Shakiaya Helton; parents, Dennis and Barbara Plunkett; brother, Rodney Plunkett (Diane); step daughter, Lakechia Cline; and nephews, Spencer and Evan Plunkett.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at St. James Episcopal Church 4515 Delray Street Roanoke by the Rev. Jonathan Harris. The family will receive friends following the service in the church socail hall. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
