Bryan Sexton

Bryan Howard Sexton, age 57, of Hardy, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Bryan was born June 21, 1966, in Clifton Forge, Virginia. He is the son of Sandra McMillion Sexton and the late Bulis “Booty” Sexton of Covington. Bryan is survived by his son, Cole Bryant Sexton, and his daughter, Taylor LeeAnn Sexton, both of Mount Airy, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Shannon Sexton Broughman of Daleville, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Bryan was preceded in death by an infant sister, Syrena Dawn Sexton.
Bryan had an amazing career as a cardiovascular technologist for 36 years. Most recently in the electrophysiology lab at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Bryan was a devoted father and an avid fisherman. He enjoyed fishing on the lake and the river. He loved and enjoyed motocross and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Bryan was an exceptional hunter and would be out hunting on the first day of bow, rifle, or muzzleloader season. He was an astounding cook and enjoyed creating his own spices and recipes. Bryan loved being on the water, whether boating or floating the river.
His greatest love was Cole and Taylor whom his legacy will live on.
To know Bryan is to love Bryan and his laughter will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at 1352 Stonebrook Farms Road, Bedford, VA 24534 on June 15, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
