Calvin Burton Gregory

Calvin Burton Gregory, 84, of Penhook, VA passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at home. He was born on November 1, 1940, in Penhook, VA to Curtis Wilbur Gregory and Eva Robinson Gregory. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Paulette Adkins Gregory and his sister Mildred Gregory. 

After retirement, Calvin loved volunteering at Cool Spring Christian Church in Penhook, VA. He is survived by his sons, Michael Gregory and Steven Gregory; Godson Jimmy Martin; sisters, Sylvia Lemons, Eunice Cox, and Evelyn Lusk; brothers, Carroll Gregory and Kelly Gregory; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Norris Funeral Home in Martinsville with Pastor Brad Barbour officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Gregory Family Cemetery at the family farm in Penhook, VA. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cool Spring Christian Church at 234 Danville Turnpike, Penhook, VA 24137.
